Demaryius Thomas was a big receiving threat all day, leading the way to an overtime victory for the Broncos over the Steelers, 29-23 at home. With the victory, Denver advances to the AFC Divisional Round.
Tim Tebow picked apart the Steelers for three touchdowns (2 pass, 1 rush) on 10 of 21 passing for 316 yards and no interceptions. In comparison, Ben Roethlisberger went 22 of 40 with 289 yards passing, one touchdown and one pick for the Steelers.
Willis McGahee rushed for 61 yards on 19 carries with one fumble. Thomas was a top receiver, catching four passes for 204 yards with a touchdown.
The Denver defense gave up 156 yards rushing and 244 passing. They consistently put pressure on Roethlisberger and the Steelers offensive line, racking up five sacks.
Lastly, Matt Prater was perfect, hitting all three of the field goals he attempted.
Steelers running back Isaac Redman gave a standout effort with 121 yards rushing and 21 receiving. Tight end Heath Miller also had a good game with 60 receiving yards.
